The Lot 165 "Glencoe" cottage, which is now sold, was designed by Spriet Associates, Engineers and Architects, as a model home for the Island Mooring Club development. The design is based on the Glencoe railway station. The following photos and plans give an overview of this successful project.

The Glencoe Cottage
The photo at left shows the Lot 165 "Glencoe" cottage, built as a model home and now sold. This cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open concept kitchen, dining and living room area. At the front there is an upper level loft with an excellent view of the waterfront.

Chenal Ecarte View
The property overlooks the Chenal Ecarte waterway and Walpole Island. A deeded waterlot with a steel seawall is included as part of the property. The lot is landscaped, with a paved on-site parking area.

Quality Construction
This Island Mooring Club cottage has been designed and built for year-round use. It is fully insulated and has a large lower level storage area. The photo shows a low-maintenace Dura-Loc stone-coated metal roof partly installed.

The "Glencoe" cottage on Lot 165 was designed by Spriet Associates, Engineers and Architects. The firm has a range of cottage designs available that are suited to the Island Mooring Club design parameters and lot dimensions. The following elevations are from the building plans for Lot 165.
